Important info with special notes.

Well done guys on making the final x 16 players. Every player that made it had special qualities that caught the selectors attention. What I would like from you all now and throughout the remainder of the season is to concentrate on certain aspects of your own game. To improve yourselves even more as we approach the nationals in OCTOBER.

I will be running a training session every Monday evening on a fortnightly basis up until September. In September, which will be four weeks before the tournament starts. We will be training every week. On a Monday and Wednesday evening. During this time I will have organized 4 to 6 practice matches against quality opposition for us to be tested at our maximum.

As your coach I find it a honour and privilege to be coaching U14”s VIC. Team. Plus you guys should be feeling the same, as representing your state. Also of most importance is representing the VCSA with pride and distinction. The VCSA give me great support and respect for what we set our goals to be. Without them this would not be possible.

Every player that made the squad are to give a 110% commitment  throughout the campaign. You have now stepped up from club level to Representative level, which every one of you is capable of.

If I notice players doing the following:

a)       not turning up to training.

b)       Change of attitude.

c)       Drop of in performance on the track.

I will replace you with one of the emergency players. This means you will not be going to WA. As from this very moment your campaign starts now. You are representing the VCSA with pride and passion.

Listed below is a short profile of each player plus what I would like you to work on in the meantime for improvement on your own skills in your Saturday games:

Joshua Brancatisano – Very good hands in catching the ball. Terrific kicking. Positioning good. Practice on having stronger palms when pushing the ball wide or over the crossbar.
